Installation Guide for Shopify

This guide explains how to add the accessibility widget to your Shopify store by inserting a script in your theme code. Total installation time: approximately 5 minutes.

Installation Steps

Using Theme Editor

  1. Access Shopify Admin
    • Log into your Shopify admin panel at admin.shopify.com
  2. Navigate to Theme Editor
    • Go to Online Store → Themes in the left sidebar
  3. Edit Theme Code
    • Click “Actions” dropdown for your active theme and select “Edit code”
  4. Locate Theme.liquid
    • From the file explorer on the left, find and click on theme.liquid
  5. Add Widget Script
    • Locate the closing </body> tag and paste the script from the dashboard
  6. Save Changes
    • Click the “Save” button in the top-right corner

Verification

Preview in store

    • Click “Preview” in the theme editor or visit your live store
